Welcome to 2024! This year has already started out, as usual, wet and sloppy. This time of year is always a hot mess of mud and rain. We will get back to lessons the MOMENT the weather allows us to! Even when the arena is too slick to play and do a scrimmage lesson, we still can take advantage of other areas so we can work on riding, position, horsemanship... all those things! at PLSD we want you to be as well rounded as possible! We are the friendliest, most thorough beginner program of polo lessons in San Diego. From Lesson One, you'll learn how to become proficient and independent around these magnificent animals, and learn the basics of polo too. Riding, Balance, Safety, Hitting, Rules and Strategy.
Whether you want to just play la-dee-da polo (aka "SlowLo") or practice practice practice to get competitive, Gillian can show you the way, or point you in the right direction. Gillian's polo lessons and opportunities are available year round in Lakeside, California, right outside of the city of San Diego. We teach what you need to know to succeed in the sport, increasing your longevity in polo!
